Uttering Threats And Dangerous Driving

A Blenheim man faces dangerous driving and uttering threats charges for allegedly using his vehicle to harass a youth in the town.

Police say the 22-year-old accelerated towards the youth standing on a grass boulevard in the area of John St. and Hall St. around 8:15pm yesterday, narrowly missing him. The suspect then squealed his tires and circled around the block, drove up to the same young man, threatened him, and sped away.

Officers say the youth knew the suspect and was able to identify him.

The Blenheim man was located about two hours later on Talbot Trail and taken into custody and held for a bail hearing.
