Alleged Credit Card Fraudsters Charged

Four Chatham residents have been arrested after an incident involving a stolen credit card.

Chatham-Kent police say officers were called to a grocery store on St Clair St. Saturday night, after four people tried to purchase a large amount of food, with a credit card that couldn't be processed.

Police tracked down four suspects as they tried to leave in a taxi.

Now two women, aged 55 and 29, and two men, aged 43 and 26, have been charged with theft and possession of a stolen credit card and fraud.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
