Firearms Stolen Near Wheatley

Chatham-Kent police are appealing to the public for tips after someone stole 12 long guns from a residence in the Wheatley area.

Police say the guns have a collective value of about $4,000 and were stolen some time over the past month.

There was no sign of forced entry at the home, but the lockers where the guns were stored appeared to have been pried open.
