Police Lay Child Porn Charges

A 27-year-old Chatham man is facing child pornography charges after police seized a laptop from his work and a computer from his home.

Police say the man was released from custody in March with several conditions, including a ban on possessing or accessing any electronic devices capable of logging onto the Internet outside of work.

In May, the Internet Child Exploitation Unit became involved in an investigation surrounding the man again.

He was arrested last night and is now charged with possessing child pornography, accessing child pornography and two counts of failing to comply.
