New Public Health Director

The Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit's new director is excited to learn the ropes of her new position.

Theresa Bendo comes to Chatham-Kent after working at the public health department in Hamilton.

She says she's looking forward to teaming the CKPHU with other groups to promote healthy lifestyles. "The partnerships and things we do in the community are great. It's a great community to work with non-profit and business organizations together."

Bendo is replacing Dr. April Rietdyk, who is now general manager of Health and Family Services.
