After Prom Party Turns Violent

An after prom party in the county ended with Windsor police officers finding injured students and underage drinking.

Police say well over 1,000 people were at the party Saturday at around 1:30am in the 9000 block of County Rd. 42 between Lauzon and Banwell. Countless empty alcohol bottles were also seen all over the property, police say.

As officers arrived, a 911 call came in reporting a possible stabbing on the property. Police say three 18-year-old male victims were cut, and possibly a fourth who also had lacerations. All of the injuries are considered non-life threatening.

The after prom party was for two local high schools, but not sanctioned by the schools themselves, police say. Investigators also believe the suspect(s) are not students from either school.

Police have limited suspect information and are asking the public for help. So far police are searching for a white or Hispanic male, 18 or 19, wearing a black or dark blue Adidas shirt and jeans. He's described as having long, black hair with a possible cut above his right eye.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Windsor Police at 519-255-6700 ext. 4305, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 519-258-8477.
