Tornado Watch Ended

Environment Canada has ended a severe thunderstorm warning as well as a tornado watch for both Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent.

About 3,400 homes and businesses are without power in Windsor and Essex County following the thunderstorms.

1,300 of those are in Kingsville, a thousand are in the Wheatley area, while just 400 are in Windsor. Both Hydro One and Enwin expect to have power restored to all customers by 7.

In Chatham-Kent, Hydro One says over 1,600 customers in the Wheatley-area are without power. No word on when the power will be restored.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
