Threshing Festival Celebrates 40 Years

40 years of the Thamesville Threshing Festival means more entertainment and bigger fireworks.

The Festival kicks off tonight with the parade at 6:30pm, and events run right through to Saturday night.

Entertainment Chair Dawn Grant says they wouldn't be able to put on an event like this without the support of Thamesville.

"Without the community coming together, the small business donating their time and money and things for our festival. The people coming to festival, without all of those things combined, we wouldn't have a festival at all," says Grant.
