Stratford Police Lay Charges In 21-Year-Old Unsolved Murder Case

Stratford police have laid charges in a 21-year-old unsolved murder case involving an 18-month-old child.

43-year-old Christopher Skinner has been charged with first-degree murder in connection to the homicide of Tanika Seupersaud back in 1994.

During the initial investigation, police say there wasn't enough evidence to proceed with charges against Skinner. But, after reopening the case in 2014, officials now believe they have uncovered enough information to lay charges.

The investigative team conducted several interviews and re-examined the forensic evidence, according to police.
