Windsor Man Causes Headache For CK Police

Chatham-Kent police had their hands full with an intoxicated man early Sunday morning.

Police say it started with a disturbance call at a Richmond St. business around 3am. Police tracked the suspect down in his vehicle, and believed the man was under the influence of alcohol.

When the man refused to provide a breath sample, police arrested him. The man allegedly threatened to kill one of the officers during the procedure.

When CK police brought the man to their headquarters, the suspect allegedly began fighting officers, assaulting two of them. No one was injured in the scuffle.

A 45-year-old Windsor man now faces a number of charges, including uttering threats, refusing to provide a breath sample, and assaulting a peace officer.
