The Henry County Sheriff's Office says Djordie Mihalo's truck ran into the back of a tractor trailer that was waiting at a railway crossing on U.S. 24 around 11am, yesterday.
The trailer of Mihalo's rig caught fire, and spread into the cab of the truck.
Three other drivers and a passenger were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The highway is closed today to repave that section of road.
