Furnishing Hospice Campaign Growing

The campaign to furnish the new Chatham-Kent Hospice could be wrapped up by the time construction of the facility is finished.

Director of Development Jodi Maroney says it is going well so far.

"Our goal has been to raise $200,000 to offset the cost of furniture and equipment needed, and we've just hit the half-way mark, a little over the half-way mark," she says. "We know how generous this community is and how supportive they were last year with our capital campaign, it's a busy time of year right now so we are just trying to remind them we still have this need."

Contributions are welcome, and the Hospice web-site has a list of items needed so donors can see what kind of impact their gift will make.
