UPDATE: Cyclist Crash In Downtown Chatham

Chatham-Kent police now know how two cyclists, found at King St. and Fifth St., ended up in hospital last weekend.

Officers found security footage from a downtown building, which showed both men speeding toward each other before colliding early Sunday morning.

A 42-year-old Chatham man is still in serious condition at a London hospital, while a 41-year-old, also from Chatham, has been treated and released.

Police originally thought the two men had been hit by a car, after finding them on the ground of the intersection at about 3:30am, Sunday.
