Pot Plants In Corn Field

Chatham-Kent police have seized 130 marijuana plants after a concerned citizen tipped them off about someone growing pot in a corn field in Orford Township.

Police say they located five different plots of marijuana plants in the field, adding the plants have a combined street value of approximately $130,000.

Officers are asking anyone who believes there are plants growing in their field to call police or Crime Stoppers.
