UPDATE: Another Crash Near Tilbury Service Centre

OPP continue to investigate after a multi-vehicle crash on the Hwy. 401.

The crash happened just after 8am in the westbound lanes of the 401 near the Tilbury Service Centre.

A caller to BlackburnNews.com says the crash involved a minivan and possibly a transport truck, adding OPP diverted traffic through the service centre to avoid extended delays.

The off-ramp to the service station has been reopened. That stretch of the highway remains one lane in each direction.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
