Second Last Stop On Tour

The second last stop on the Jamieson Junior Golf Tour goes today.

Young golfers from across Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent are teeing off at Beach Grove Golf and Country Club in Tecumseh.

The shotgun start gets underway at 10am.

Amherstburg's Marcus Slipchuck leads the Jr. Boys points standings, while LaSalle's Melanie Burgess leads the Jr. Girls standings.

Bryce Evon leads the Collegiate Men, while Sara Holland is the stop Collegiate Woman.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
