LTVCA Pushes Green Projects

A new specialist with the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority who is working with farmers on environmental efforts says there is a lot of interest in green projects.

Colin Little says the role covers a lot of different projects.

"To reduce phosphorous loading in Lake Erie and also promote our stewardship projects, research projects, monitoring of phosphorous loading and all sorts of environmental initiatives," he says. "Lots of reforestation, lots of wetland creation, prairie grass planting."

Little says tree planting in Chatham-Kent covered 90 acres this year.
