Canada Moves On To FIBA Championship Final

Team Canada remains undefeated following a 83-66 win over Brazil at the 2015 FIBA Americas Women’s Basketball Championship.

On Saturday, Windsor's Miah Marie Langlois helped lead her team to victory with 10 points and 3 rebounds, leading the team with 7 assists. Chatham-Kent born Miranda Ayim chipped in 11 points, shooting 80% from the field. She also added 4 boards.

Canada will now meet Cuba at the 2015 FIBA Americas Women’s Championship final. The winner of the final earns a berth at the Rio 2016 Olympics.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
