Fatal Crash Not Result of Mechanical Issue

Chatham-Kent police have found no mechanical issues with a vehicle involved in a fatal crash last week in Pain Court.

Officers say the 1988 pickup truck left Winter Line Rd. last Monday morning, and rolled into a ditch. A 22-year-old Dover Township man driving the truck was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say they're still waiting on toxicology reports, which could take three to four months. Investigators would still like to speak with anyone who witnessed the crash.
