UPDATE: Crash Causes Lengthy Closure

Chatham-Kent police are at the scene of a single vehicle crash at Centre Side Rd. and Gregory Line, just outside of Chatham.

A transport truck fell onto its side while making a turn, spilling corn across the area. Police say they`re looking into the possibility a vehicle pulled into the lane in front of the truck, forcing the driver to overcorrect.

The driver of the truck was taken to hospital for minor injuries. Officials say the accident will close the intersection until at least 5pm Tuesday, as crews work to clean up the mess.
