Walsh Opening First Campaign Office

The NDP campaign in Chatham-Kent-Leamington is kicking up a notch this afternoon with the opening of its first campaign office.

Candidate Tony Walsh says the Chatham office is part of his plans, and says enthusiasm is high among party supporters.

"We're still looking to open offices in some of the other communities as well but it's good to have the office open here. We've got volunteers signing up people coming in for signs," he says. "Traditional supporters have never been happier, they've never been more excited. I speak with volunteers from elections past they are very excited, very enthusiastic."

Walsh is holding a reception at the office at 235 St. Clair St. beginning at 4pm with the official opening at 7pm.
