Update: Windsor Police Investigate Murder

A 34-year-old Windsor man faces first degree murder charges after an incident in a duplex on Brant St.

Police say it happened in the 700-block around 12:30am, Wednesday.

A 52-year-old man was found unconscious by fire and EMS crews, but police say he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Derek Gammon was arraigned in court Wednesday afternoon.

This is the second homicide on Brant St. this year.  In June a man was found dead outside.  The next week police made an arrest in the case.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
