161st Harrow Fair Underway

Weather hasn't had much of an impacted crowds at the 161st Harrow Fair.

Storms marked the beginning of the event Thursday, but organizers were able to get the fairground back into shape quickly.

Fair Board president Beverly Pillon says there are several events happening today, with the parade kicking things off.

"The parade usually lasts at least an hour. It's always a big draw. We also have the lawn tractor races going on. The tractor pull first, then the lawn tractor races."

The annual pie auction was held Thursday night, despite the storms. Auctioneers sold 45 pies, raising nearly $10,500 for the fair board.

The full schedule of events can be found at the fair's website.
