Oaks Helps Out Habitat

Staff and some residents at the Oaks Retirement Village in Wallaceburg helped out with the Habitat for Humanity build in the town.

General Manager Andrew McClintock says they helped put a deck up on the property.

"It took us all day, the residents were there just for the morning it was a little warm out," he says. "We actually put together the framework and the top of the deck and got it all set and ready to go, it was a great feeling."

McClintock says it seemed like a worthwhile project that both staff and residents could work together on for the betterment of the community.
