Trailer Fire Spreads To House

Damage is pegged at around $200,000 after a trailer fire spread to a house in Wallaceburg.

Chatham-Kent Fire and Emergency Services says on Sunday just before 7pm, firefighters responded to the home located at 101 Edwy St.

A pick-up truck and a camper were also exposed to the blaze, but fire crews were able to save around $100,000 worth of property.

Fire officials say the cause of the blaze is still under investigation.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
