Quick Recovery From Life Threatening Injuries

A Tilbury man who suffered life threatening injuries in a crash over the weekend has already been released from hospital.

Officers responded to the crash on King & Whittle Rd. in Romney just after 6am Saturday when a vehicle left the roadway and struck a culvert. The 19-year-old man was taken to the Health Alliance in Chatham and later transported to a London hospital.

Chatham-Kent police say the man was released from hospital on Sunday.

Police believe alcohol was a factor in the crash. No charges have been laid while the crash remains under investigation.
