Quick Recovery From Life Threatening Injuries

A Tilbury man who suffered life threatening injuries in a crash over the weekend has already been released from hospital.

Officers responded to the crash on King & Whittle Rd. in Romney just after 6am Saturday when a vehicle left the roadway and struck a culvert. The 19-year-old man was taken to the Health Alliance in Chatham and later transported to a London hospital.

Chatham-Kent police say the man was released from hospital on Sunday.

Police believe alcohol was a factor in the crash. No charges have been laid while the crash remains under investigation.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
