Bothwell Man Charged With Voyeurism

A Bothwell man has been charged with voyeurism and criminal harassment following a number of incidents involving the same woman.

Back in July, police say the suspect followed a woman and her friend while they were shopping in Chatham, then tried to take a photo up her skirt using a cellphone. He fled when she confronted him.

Later that month, she saw the same man riding a bike by her home, and then spotted him following her in the grocery store. He once again fled when confronted.

Yesterday she saw him again in a store and called police.

The 22-year-old from Bothwell was taken into custody and is being held pending a bail hearing.
