CK Collecting Hazardous Waste

Chatham-Kent residents have the opportunity to dispose of their hazardous waste materials, with a number of drop off locations in the area Saturday.

The municipality says you can bring things like lightbulbs, batteries, pool chemicals or pesticides to the drop off zones, where they`ll be properly disposed of.

Below is a list of locations to bring the hazardous waste. The service will be open until 3pm on Saturday.

  • Chatham Public Works Garage - 25 Creek Rd.
  • Chatham Township Public Works Garage - 10137 Greenvalley Ln.
  • Ridgetown Public Works Garage - 13337 Reeders Ln.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
