Remembering Fallen Officers In Canada

The Chatham-Kent Police Service will remember members killed in the line of duty.

Constable Renee Cowell says the service will be held at First Baptist Church on King St. E. in Chatham at 11am.

"This is the 12th year that we've participated in a memorial service and its been held at various churches across the municipality," says Cowell. "This year four officers who have died this past year across Canada will be honoured, we will remember their lives, their service, and their sacrifice."

The service is open for the public to attend.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
