United Way Red Feather Kick Off

It's a big week for the United Way with the campaign kick-off tonight and Red Feather sports events for students take place all this week.

Erica Kitchen Youth Engagement Coordinator since it is the 60th year some traditions continue and some previous events like the dance are being brought back.

"They will remember their Red Feather days, some of my greatest memories of high school were Red Feather," she says. "I think it is so important that the youth have something they can call their own and they have this week to build on a year of school pride and school participants."

As well as a Red Feather dance for students this weekend there is a reunion dance in October.

The schedule of the sports events can be found here.
