Sign Ups All Under One Roof

It's one-stop shopping for parents in Chatham-Kent interested in signing up their children for a sports team.

Longtime coach Mary Theresa Hiltz on the event being dubbed Get Up Off The Couch.

"It's the first time its ever been done city wide and Chatham-Kent wide actually," says Hiltz. "We're bringing between 40 and 50 activity providers, it's teams, clubs, sports of any sort, and we are bringing them all under one roof for parents to come through."

The event is for children ages four and up. It's being held tonight at John McGregor Secondary School from 6-8pm.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
