Thamesville Library Temporarily Closing

Visitors of the Thamesville Library will have to plan ahead to get their fix somewhere else.

The branch will be closed for renovations from Saturday, September 26 until Tuesday, October 6.

The Chatham-Kent Library's Sarah Hart says they'll be adding new carpet and giving an updated paint job.

"We have a lot of visitors in Thamesville, we want to keep the branch looking fresh, new welcoming for all the people who want to use it."

The Thamesville municipal office, which is connected to the branch, will also be closed on Tuesday and Thursday of this week.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
