Buxton Featured On CBC Comedy Show

The community of Buxton will be featured as part of a comedy TV show on CBC.

Comedian Jonny Harris will show some footage from his visit to Buxton on the program Still Standing. Buxton farmer Chris Prince says he spent a lot of time getting to know the people.

"He came to homecoming and got to experience the big influx of people and then he got to spend some time when it was really quiet, so he got both ends of the spectrum," says Prince. "It was neat, he spent time in north and south Buxton, he went out to the raceway and spent some time there, spent a lot of time at the museum, and then he came out and hung out with me on the farm for a day.

The TV show will also be aired live at the St.Clair College Capitol Theatre, doors open at 8:30pm, the show starts at 9:30pm.
