Hogs For Hospice Launch In Leamington

Dozens of motorcycles lined the promenade outside Leamington town hall as organizers unveiled a new motorcycle rally planned for next year.

Hogs For Hospice is set for the weekend or July 29th to 31st, 2016.

Co-Organizer Joe Oswald hopes 3,000 riders sign up for the rally, with proceeds going to the Erie Shores Hospice.

"You will get the tour of not only Point Pelee National Park, our shoreline and all of Essex County. You will also get admission to the festival like environment (at Seacliff Park) with all of the entertainment."

The rally will also include events at the Leamington Roma Club. It's also the same weekend as the Sun Parlour Rodeo, which will also be part of the attraction.

"We are going to be partnering with the BIA and the chamber of commerce to have town hall meeting through the year to teach business owners how they can capitalize and embrace this event."
