Boobs Fundraiser Surpasses Its Goal

Two Boobs In A Bucket kicked off Breast Cancer Awareness Month in Chatham today.

A pair of Blackburn Radio announcers were finally able to come down just before noon Thursday after spending a chilly morning raised up in the bucket of an Entegrus truck during the fourth annual fundraising event.

Krissy Rioux with the Canadian Cancer Society says they easily surpassed their $3,000 goal, collecting more than $4,300.

"It streamed in steadily throughout the whole morning," says Rioux. "This money will go to breast cancer research and our programs for anyone who is fighting breast cancer."

Donations are still being accepted at the radio station on Keil Dr. in Chatham.
