Panthers Look To Stay Perfect

The John McGregor Panthers 8-man football team puts their perfect record on the line this afternoon.

The Panthers, who are 2-0, host the 0-1-and-1 Wallaceburg Tartans at 3:45pm.

McGregor head coach Tim Regan says if they want to win, they have to stop the Tartans run game.

"They will ground and pound us, they will try and maintain possession that whole game, so we need to stop them on the run," says Regan. "They play a Wing-T offence and they've been able to rack up yards all over us for the last ten years. We've change the game plan and hopefully we'll be able to stop them on the ground."

In 12-man football action, CKSS is on the road in Sarnia to face St. Pat's.
