Chatham-Kent fire crews had to put out an overnight blaze near the outskirts of Chatham Saturday.
Police reported to a home under construction on Twilight Trail. When crews arrived, flames were seen coming through the roof of the house.
Firefighters initially tried to combat the blaze inside, but flames forced them to attack the fire from the outside. Since the home was still being built, no one was inside when the fire started around 2:30am.
The fire is not being treated as suspicious. Damages are estimated around $100,000.
