Weekend Crash Results In Charges

A crash on Hwy. 40 involving a motorcycle has landed a 68-year-old man with a careless driving charge.

Chatham-Kent OPP say just after 3pm on Saturday, October 10th, a southbound motorcycle was waiting to turn off the highway onto River Line when it was hit from behind by a car.

The male driver of the motorcycle and his female passenger, both from London, suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The man driving the car from Hensall, was not hurt.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
