Police say the youth was speaking with someone on Coverdale St. at around 11pm Thursday night when the discussion escalated into an argument.
At that point, police say the youth allegedly stabbed the victim three times and cut his hand.
The male victim was treated at the hospital and released. The youth accused of stabbing him was taken into custody pending a bail hearing.
Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
