Second CK Habitat Home Being Dedicated

Chatham-Kent Habitat for Humanity is dedicating its second ever home to the Davis family in Wallaceburg today.

Executive Director Nancy McDowell says the family and their three children are excited to move in.

"They have been a wonderful family to work with. They've been a part of the build from beginning to end," says McDowell. "Becca and Ryan and have three children: two girls and a boy. They're looking forward to decorating their bedrooms and getting moved in."

McDowell says the Wallaceburg home is a sign of progress for Chatham-Kent Habitat for Humanity.

"Doing the second home, especially in Wallaceburg, we want to get out in the community and service all of Chatham-Kent. It was a great second build and we're looking forward to another one again next year," says McDowell.

The key ceremony is being held at 10am on Saturday and the community is invited to join in the celebration at 160 Forhan St. in Wallaceburg.
