LKDSB Announces Deal With Teachers

The Lambton Kent District School Board is announcing a deal with full time and occasional high school teachers has been ratified.

Director of Education Jim Costello says the local agreement is almost status quo to the previous agreement. He adds that most of the key elements are bargained in the provincial agreement.

The three year contract dates back to September 1, 2014 and expires August 31, 2017.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
