Halloween Family Fun In Chatham

Family from across Chatham-Kent will don their Halloween costumes a week early for the annual Halloween Fest.

Kelly Bacchus with CK Recreation says they have lots of activities planned for the whole family.

"There will be inflatables at the event, there's face painting, balloon twisters, you get your pumpkin to take home that you've carved or decorated, you get a goody bag on your way out," says Bacchus. "It gets bigger and bigger and it's a challenge to create something different and new each time that we do it that's exciting for the families to come and see."

The fun gets underway at 1pm and runs until 4pm at the John D. Bradley Convention Centre in Chatham.

$10 gets a family of five into the event, and wristbands will be available at the door.
