Jr. Hockey Wrap Up - October 26, 2015

In Great Lakes Junior C Hockey League play, a big second period led the Integrity Amherstburg Admirals to a 6-4 win over the Wheatley Omstead Sharks.

Andreas Grossmann gave the Sharks a 1-0 lead after the first period, but the Admirals exploded in the second period with five goals to take a commanding lead into the third period. The Sharks made a good effort in fighting back with three goals in the third, but in the end it wasn't enough.

Ryan Alexander had two goals and two assists for the Admirals in the win.

The Admirals next face-off against the Alvinston Flyers while the Sharks take on the Mooretown Flags.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
