Starting in June of 2016, residents in Windsor, Brantford, Guelph, Kitchener-Waterloo, London, Owen Sound, Sarnia, Stratford and Woodstock receiving new telephone numbers could get one that starts with 548.

The 226 code was added to the 519 area in 2006.
