The single-vehicle crash caused traffic headaches Tuesday afternoon in the eastbound lanes just east of Communication Rd. in Chatham-Kent.
The driver was sent to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The eastbound lanes were also closed for several hours for the investigation and to clear all debris.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
