Goodfellows Office Open Again

The Chatham Goodfellows office has opened for the year and is taking names of people in need of Christmas baskets and toys.

Volunteer Stephanie Williston has worked with the Goodfellows for about 25 years since she was a young child.

"My family got me started and now it is more to make sure that all of the children in our community enjoy a good healthy meal and toys for Christmas," she says. "It's very busy right to the day that we finish, there's lots of calls lots of enquiries whether it is to put their name in or to find out more information for other people or themselves whether they are able to apply or not."

Anyone wanting to arrange for a Christmas basket can call the Goodfellows office at 519-354-1146, but be patient because the phone line has been busy.
