Sword Fight In Coatsworth

A neighbours dispute in Coatsworth has left one man injured and both facing charges.

Chatham-Kent Police say the two men started arguing yesterday morning after one of the families dogs was eating the others cat food outside.

Investigators say the argument turned into a fight and one man was injured after the other assaulted him with a homemade sword.

A main entrance front door window was also smashed.

The injured 43-year-old was treated and released from hospital and charged with uttering threats and mischief.

While a 33-year-old man was charged with uttering threats and being in possession of a dangerous weapon for a dangerous purpose.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
