Transport Flips On Ambassador Bridge

A transport truck hauling a large piece of steel flipped on the Ambassador Bridge just before U.S. Customs Wednesday.

The crash happened at around noon yesterday and all lanes have since reopened.

Stan Korosec with the bridge company says the big rig rolled over as it veered towards the inspection station.

"When you go across the bridge the car traffic goes to the left and the trucks kind of curve to the right there," he says.

No injuries have been reported.

A crash this morning on Huron Church Rd.,which diverted northbound traffic at EC Row, added to the backlog.
