Thamesville Boil Water Advisory Ends

A boil water advisory for the Thamesville area has been lifted after being in effect for the last two days.

The Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit says test results from water samples taken on Tuesday and Wednesday have come back satisfactory.

Based on the results, the health unit has rescinded the boil water advisory for customers in the Town of Thamesville and on the following streets:

  • Longwoods Rd.
  • Huff’s Side Rd.
  • Evergreen Line
  • Industrial Line
  • Baseline Rd.
  • Sharrow Rd.
  • Grove Mills Rd.
  • Cidar Mill Rd.
  • Dawn Mills Rd.
  • Station Rd.
  • Zone 1

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
