Shoplifting Incident At Sears

Chatham-Kent police have released a pair of photos of a suspected shoplifter.

Police say store security at the Sears store in the Downtown Chatham Centre spotted a man trying to steal about $150 worth of baby items yesterday afternoon and tried to apprehend him.

Police say the man then dropped the merchandise and fled on foot.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
